2007年9月当会の20周年記念としてペマ先生の病院の為入院施設建設　/　Constructionwork for an Inpatient's home for the hospital of Dr.Pema on the occasion of our Society`s 20th Anniversary in September 2007.　
ペマ先生の病院。一階は待合室、診察室、薬を乾燥させる部屋、薬になる薬草の倉庫と薬を作る部屋。二階にもやはり薬関係の倉庫がありそしてペマ先生とご家族のお住まいとスタッフの部屋。This is Dr.Pema`s hospital.First floor waiting and consultation room,dryingroom for the handmade medicines, storeroom for medical herbs and room for making pills.Second floor:Again storerooms for medicine related materials, private rooms for Dr Pema nd family including staffrooms.

入院患者の部屋。どこのチベット医学病院でもコスト削減の為食事を貰わない。患者さん又は付き添いの親戚が食事を部屋内で作らなければならない。Because of cost problems meals are usually not being served at Tibetan medical hospitals,therefore patients or their relatives have to provide the food themselves.

ペマ先生の病院にこられる患者さんたちは数日離れた村からやって来る人たちも多く、薬の効果をチェックする為、しばらく先生の所で泊まらなければなりません。病気によっては、薬を1週間飲んだ後、脈と尿検査を行い、薬の効果があまり良くない場合や薬が合わない場合はまた違う薬を1週間分もらいます。その間、近くの村に住んでいる患者さん以外は、ペマ先生の所で泊まらなければなりません。特に効果の強い薬の場合は必ず一日数回先生に診てもらわなければなりません。
入院患者用の家はとても狭く、日が全く当たらない為真夏でもとても寒くて、トイレもありません。衛生環境も悪いですが、貧しい患者さんが多く、入院代や診察代を高く設定する訳にもいかず、先生には患者さんの入院施設を建てる資金がありません。あまり移動が出来ない患者さんは泊めてあげますが、他の患者はジェダン町に親戚や知り合いがいればその方に泊めて貰い、そうでない方は家に帰るしかありません。お金があればもちろんホテルで泊まり、タクシーで病院まで通えますがそれができる患者さんは殆どいません。
ペマ先生の土地に、患者さんのための入院施設を建てる予定です。2階建てトイレ付きの家は現在のレートで340万円かかります。
ペマ先生は大変優秀な医師で、どんな貧しい患者さんでも受け入れ、そして医師として一流の技術を一生懸命お弟子さんに無償で教えています。お弟子さんは彼の病院で泊まることもでき、弟子入りしたての若い人にも、お小遣いまで渡しています。彼の所で弟子入りした8名が当会の里親のお陰で、現在5年間(二名のみ以前チベット医学を少し勉強したので3年間)の予定で本格的なチベット医学を勉強しています。

当会としてはペマ先生とその患者さんにできるだけの支援をして行きたいと思っています。当会の20周年記念として患者さんが安心して入院できる家を寄贈したいと思っています。お陰様で会員さんのT様は不足したお金を寄付して頂いたので、今年の秋から建設が始まります。

The present inpatients home is old, without any sunlight and toilets therefore we have raised funds for the constructionworks of a new inpatient`s home. Dr Pema isn't charging much to poor patients for his services,therefore he is not able to finance the badly needed new home for inpatients.　With the generous help of our member Mrs T, we are now able to donate this inpatients home on the occasion of our Society`s 20th anniversary in September 2007. Constructionworks will start in fall.
この緊急プロジェクトが340万円かかる。170万円を集めて、残りはT様が御寄付していただきました。
The project costs 340million Yen ,we had 1.700.000Yen and the rest has been donated by Mrs T.
工事の許可を中々もらわなかった為大変遅れたが、2008年4月から奇想工事が始まった。夏は雨の為工事が一時止まり、9月からまた始まりました。 Contructionworks start in April 2008.
